The World Oceans Conference
Ove will be travelling Manado to present a study focusing on the impacts of climate change on the Coral Triangle. The study involves over 15 experts with a background in economics, biology, coastal management, social sciences and other relevant fields. The study will be presented as part of the World Oceans Conference (11-14 May 2009) which will proceed the Coral Triangle Initiative Summit Meeting of the six Heads of State of the Coral Triangle countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Solomon Islands, and Timor Leste), representatives of two partner countries (USA and Australia) and the NGO consortium Launching of the CTI Implementation in 6 countries as a result of the APEC Sydney 2007 Declaration.
